Butler B’ynote has been involved with JAG and JAG-Missouri since 2015. From 2015-2020, Butler B’ynote’ was the JAG Specialist at Sumner High School in St. Louis, while also coaching football and track and field for various schools in the Greater St. Louis Area. Since the fall of 2020, B’ynote’ has been head football coach, assistant track coach, and assistant dean at Westminster Christian Academy in Town and Country, a suburb of St. Louis. But, while doing so, he will continue with his passion: working with JAG and the students JAG serves.
After serving two years as a Regional Program Manager for JAG-Missouri, servicing the St. Louis Greater Metropolitan Area, B’ynote’ is now Special Projects Manager. The special projects will not only be in St. Louis, but also statewide.
A St. Louis native and Vashon High School graduate, B’ynote’ graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and applied economics with specialization in multimedia production and design and marketing. He played football and ran track at Ohio State, and then played in the NFL, Arena Football League, and NFL Europe.
Prior to becoming a JAG-Missouri Specialist, B’ynote’ was a Strategic and Tactical Planner at the Gateway Academy of Ohio School for two years. He has experience in the private sector, working at Dick’s Sporting Goods, In Ventiv Health, Blue Diesel, and Schottenstein Property Group. He also has consulted with a number of companies, Ohio State, and the Big Ten Network.
B’ynote’, an ordained reverend in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, and his wife, Tanya, have three children: Braxton, Butler IV, and Bri.
