JAG-Missouri is thrilled to have middle school and junior high students participate in event competitions and meet students from JAG programs from across the southwest region during its first-ever Middle School Showcase.
In April 2023, all the winners from our state Career Development Conference were able to fly to Orlando to compete against other states at the National Career Development Conference.
Kaia Trujillo, from Skyline High School, was recently selected as one of 35 Kenneth M. Smith Scholarship recipients 2023.
On April 3 and 4, more than 350 JAG-Missouri students representing our high school programs from across the state joined us in Jefferson City for our annual Career Development Conference. Over the two days, students competed in a variety of team and individual events, networked with peers and visited legislators.
JAG-Missouri will enter the 2022-23 school year on a high note, having received multiple awards from JAG National for performance last year. JAG-Missouri received awards for overall state success, as well as awards for performance at the school and individual levels. The awards were announced during the national training in mid-July and presented during the state training the following week.
This year was the first ever Jobs for America’s Graduates National Career Development Conference in Dallas, Texas. Students competed at the state level and the top three in each category advanced to the national level.
150 Students and chaperones from JAG programs across Missouri attended the National Student Leadership Academy in our Nation’s Capitol. Students were selected among leaders in their local programs to attend this conference and participate in leadership development sessions, team building initiatives, tour monuments and museums and listen to featured speakers throughout the week. During the
JAG-Missouri received a number of awards for its success with the class of 2016, including the top award presented by JAG National: the “Five of Five” Award.
