Heather Mulford

Heather Mulford brings her experience to the Jobs for America’s Graduates – Missouri program as Interim Program Manager.  Her background in both the business and education allows her to support JAG-Missouri as it continues to grow programs and work with students to build vital skills and connections.

Mulford grew up in West Plains, Missouri, and lived there until May of 2018. Heather and her family relocated to Pacific, Missouri, earlier this year, where her husband is Superintendent of the Meramec Valley School District.  He had previously been Superintendent at West Plains. The Mulfords share a passion for education.

She received bachelor’s degree in business management from William Woods University and earned a Master of Art in Teaching degree from Missouri State University in Springfield.

Heather started her career in Banking, working 13 years in this field.  She transitioned to education after deciding to pursue a career path through which she could have more of an impact.  While in education, she was able to teach various courses including:  business, computers, Work-Study program (COE), physical education, library media, and technology integration.  She has coached girl’s golf, basketball, and cheerleading during her career.   She also serves as a per course online instructor for Missouri State University-West Plains.

She is excited to serve JAG-Missouri as Program Manager and looks forward to working alongside each specialist for both the growth of Missouri’s students and the development of state’s workforce.
