Kim Brinkmann

Kim Brinkmann has had a varied career, working in the fashion industry, as a Pilates instructor, and as a flight attendant. She and her husband, Bob, live in Defiance just outside St. Louis where she now spends time “keeping up with the bees and chickens” at Femme Osage Grove, making homemade jams, and riding her John Deere tractor. She continues to be involved in real estate and is an active community volunteer.

Brinkmann graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in business. She enjoyed a successful 15-year career in the fashion industry. Then in 2000, after completing an extensive training program in Authentic Pilates, she opened her own studio, Pure Pilates Plus, which she operated until 2015.

Her philanthropic interests included Camp Sunshine, a summer camp dedicated to children battling cancer, and she is a past Board Member to both Marygrove Children’s Charities and Lift for Life. She is a commissioner for the St. Charles County Convention & Sports Facility Authority, and she is an active member of the Rooted Sister’s Bible Study and the Alpha Chi Omega social sorority.
