JAG-Missouri student receives Kenneth M. Smith Scholarship

Kaia Trujillo, from Skyline High School, was recently selected as one of 35 Kenneth M. Smith Scholarship recipients 2023. Recipients are selected from JAG programs nation wide. Whitney Gentry serves as the specialist at Skyline High School. Congratulations!

The JAG Board of Directors established the Kenneth M. Smith Scholarship Fund in honor of the extraordinary leadership and service of the first and only President and Chief Executive Officer of Jobs for America’s Graduates, Inc., Kenneth M. Smith.

Scholarships are awarded to JAG participants in pursuit of a postsecondary degree or certificate, including: a public or private two-year community college, technical college, public or private four-year college/university, or an apprenticeship or trade school. Scholarships are also awarded to previous Smith Scholars who apply and are accepted for a follow-up scholarship to continue pursuit of a postsecondary degree or certificate.
